Sweet HayaH is well-established as one of the most popular Original artists in the SF Bay Area, making them the ideal festival band, as well as the life of any party. In addition to the founding members Nehal Abuelata (Lead Vocals/Keyboard) & Devin Moreno (Guitar/Vocals), the line-up now also includes powerhouse Drummer Kosuke Okamura, flyin' Trombone player Ryosuke Sakurai and funky Bassist Austin Geiger. The band’s resume boasts a myriad of Festivals, as well as opening and supporting shows for impressive and legendary artists such as Robbie Krieger of the Doors, Roddy Radiation of the Specials, The Selecter, The Slackers, The English Beat and more... In 2017 Sweet HayaH played in front of 6,000 people at San Jose Music in the Park, opening for world-renowned Soul-man Brenton Wood. In the Summer of 2022, Sweet HayaH has become a staple at Adele's Garden at the legendary Mountain Winery, warming up the crowds prior to concerts by Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, BERLIN, Men at Work, Rick Springfield & John Waite.

Starting in 2019, Nehal, Kosuke and Ryo became part of the Golden State Warriors' House band The Bay Blue Notes. Nehal also had the privilege of performing  at the Warriors' Pre-Season Halftime show, which coincided with the NBA team's very FIRST public game at the San Francisco Chase Center Stadium in front of 18,000 Basketball fans.

Sweet HayaH’s fan base now extends well beyond the Bay Area and across more musical genres than they ever imagined possible. Sweet HayaH has played extensively along the Pacific Northwest and California coastline, and has toured cross-country to Georgia, Florida, New Mexico, and Texas -  including 4 South by Southwest (SXSW) showcases in 2015.

What sets Sweet HayaH apart from most bands is their natural ability to connect with their listeners in person at Live shows (they are an undeniable Live force to be reckoned with!), as well as nationally and internationally - they are always looking for engaging ways to connect with their audience. Recently a fantastic interview with Front woman Nehal published on the Nile FM Website (the largest English Radio Broadcasting network in Egypt) helped them gain new fans in Nehal's birth country.

The band has had success making not only studio albums, but has also released multiple vibrant Live recordings & music videos. In March 2018, their video for the song “Backwards” produced by May Yam was very positively received by fans Worldwide. The band and May Yam previously worked together on a short film called “Headwind”, which featured Sweet HayaH performances. In 2021, the band released their Music Video and Single “Cotati”, which has quickly become a favorite amongst their followers, and has also helped broaden their audience.

Amidst the pandemic, c. 2022, Sweet HayaH released their single “Can’t Get Comfortable”, highlighting the hardships during the peak of the pandemic, influenced by the BLM protests taking place…The single spoke on the significance of not remaining neutral in the face of injustice and taking responsibility by informing ourselves. The band emphasized the importance of remaining compassionate for those around us, as we may not know the hardships and struggles many people are battling. The goal of the single was to make the song feel like an ally and allow the public to rely on it as comfort during these uncertain times.

Sweet HayaH has produced an extensive and continuous body of high-quality original work in its 11 years of existence, and loves to give new life to the work they choose to cover. They have been building an exponential momentum over the years and melting hearts everywhere they perform...and the band is only getting started! Life just gets sweeter and sweeter when you sprinkle some HayaH on it!
