Sweet HayaH is so proud to finally share “Can’t Get Comfortable” with each & everyone of you. This song was written by the band in the Summer of 2020, so this single is an echo to the social injustices, the inequality & the hardships so many have endured these past few years (and throughout the ages). Our greatest wish for this song is that it will inspire or even empower beyond its inception:

Lyrics

If that could be the way we dive
Into the waters I see
If that could be the way we have enough for
Humanity
We surely deserve to breathe
The air I know that we need
Let’s not try to be less inspired
When we cannot sleep

Oh I can’t get comfortable, I see it
Oh I can’t get comfortable, I see it

If my skin color hurts your eyes
Then won’t you please look away
If my curls rub you the wrong way
Then I urge you to look at yourself
No I ain’t got the time to educate you now
No I ain’t got the time
Cus’ I’ve spent my life living your lies

Oh I can’t get comfortable, I see it
Oh I can’t get comfortable, I see it
Oh I can’t get comfortable, I see it
Oh I can’t get comfortable, I see it

Ooh yeah, ooh yeah, ooh no no no
Ooh yeah, ooh yeah, ooh no no no
Ooh yeah, ooh yeah, ooh no no no
Ooh yeah, ooh no no no no no

Now if you walk outside that door
With your mind at ease
Just know there’s a billion people
Out there fighting for free
So you might wanna ask yourself
If there’s a form of communication
That you’d like to gain
To redeem those who are gone

Oh I can’t get comfortable, I see it
Oh I can’t get comfortable, I see it
Oh I can’t get comfortable, I see it
Oh I can’t get comfortable, I see it
